Yes it was. They decided that she would not be the right person to be involved as they suspected it was Dr K's way of owning two clubs at the same time. It is similar to the 'unfit person' test in football. Although I think it should just be 'show us your bank a/c. OK you've passed'

Surely it's down to the people involved in signing and "motivating" said players ?? not to mention, only budgeting for promotion.
Leigh seem to have plenty of cash but, the other clubs involved in the middle 8's last season dont appear to have gambled their extra revenue on promotion and Batley are only part time ?

Nope, it's the players! They didn't score enough points to win the game nor defend well as the opposition scored more points.
Are you really saying the office junior, grounds man and kit man etc are really responsible?
Oh perhaps it was the match officials.
It can only be the players, they are the ones playing the game no one else. Is that too difficult a concept for people to grasp?

Where did I say anything about the kit man, groundsman etc, etcWe have to be careful not to score any points on "bull's bust bingo"
So, words like iconic, RFL, administration etc cannot be used on these threads

We were hoping more people would follow our lead but they didn't. Every other team were just like sheep and continued to follow the blind idea of thinking you need to have a scrum half in the side. Had more teams not selected scrum halves we would have done better.
Joking aside though I am not totally convinced that so-called professional players in any sport should require motivating. Planning and tactics yes but they should motivate themselves.

My bad, should have chosen a different "phrase"
Players at all levels respond well to good management and coaching and as you go up the professional ladder, it's as much to do with man management as tactics etc.

| Surely the relegation to the championship has helped bradford regroup and come back stronger?
No way the cut in funding and crowds would create a financial black hole, no way they would bring in loads of players in a desperate attempt for promotion, thats crazy talk and would be a brand new thing for the game to experience.

The salary cap will save them.Mr Green is a font of all knowledge when it comes to the salary cap.
Being able to sign players from the NRL despite owing monies to HMRC will never be allowed by the magnificent governing body.
Both Green and The RFL are ever so transparent to the Bradford supporters/players/staff.Twas ever thus.

Oh come on Smokey, any sane person knows the jeopardy clubs face by being relegated, you've even had a tiny taste of it yourself this season.
Bradford are a full time club who have failed to finish in the top four, of a mostly part time league.
I just think you're getting a little dewy-eyed about missing a trip to Odsal, to reminisce about those halcyon years.
