| Surely time to reduce the league to 10 teams for next year, as 12 was meant to ensure no blow out scores.

| Quote: Lebron James "You cared enough to post.
Utterly laughable performance from Hull KR. Probably the worst I've seen in SL
Regards
King James'"
Yeah, the biggest defeat ever suffered by anyone in the history of SL. We should hang our heads in shame.
By the way, 'Regards King James' after every post? Pretentious to$$er.

| Every team takes a beating now and then, even the big sides, and all have taken a bit of a beating at some time or other with near full strength sides. Its sport and for the most part sometimes every player hits his mark and its great, but sometimes even the most reliable players have off nights at the same time and you take a caning. To a degree most heavy defeats are relative to the number of regulars missing and the size and strength of the team, although record books and league tables are unsympathetic to this. (surely for a fan of wigan or leeds for eg to be beaten by 24 or so points against a top rival whilst at mostly full strength is relatively just as bad as a well under strength lower ranked team losing by 50+ against a higher ranked team).
Its just unfortunate when these are on live tv as we perceive it to show the game in a bad light, but all sports have blow out scores on live tv so its not unique to rugby league.
I personally find it more annoying when coaches rest players in games they think they will lose in order to keep them fresh for their next game which they think they have more chance of winning. Although i understand the reasons its smacks of defeatism and short changes the very fans the game needs to exist in a professional format.

Rumour has it, Campese could be out for 8 weeks. Hardly keeping him fresh for the next game is it?

| My my we are paranoid. It wasn't intended as a dig at you as id read of your teams injuries. It was a general dig at coaches who do this (and most do, especially teams with smaller, weaker squads whether they admit it or not), and as i said i understand why- i just don't agree with it.
I was merely saying all teams get whitewashed and its hardly a disgrace if a weakened side is.

Well, judging by the thread title, it's a disgrace this time.

| its just sensationalism. And some peoples viewpoint, just not everybodys. A full strength team throwing the towel in and getting stuffed would be a disgrace

| A heavily depleted squad meaning we played three youngsters you have played 5 games between them adding to that young Ollett who's played 15 games in three season, Extremely Sorry we couldn't play better with so many injuries and after losing four players to injury on the day of the game. Kick us out and never let us play Rugby League again as we are that much of a disgrace to the RFL

| Does having so many players excuse blaire or Kelly, whichever one it was for being completely shocking in defence in the first half?
Wigan were just strolling though gaps past him, as a rugby league fan and tv spectator, that's what disappointed me, the identical way Wigan just strolled through that gap

God forbid you actually bring some youngsters through for once...

His defence is only a joke when the opposition forces him to defend constantly, good tactics from SW, credit where credit is due.

Nonsense, he's a scrum half. He should be making 50 tackles every game

| I missed the first few minutes & assumed they must have moved him to hooker as he was in every tackle, before I realised Wigan were running every set at him.

| Every team goes through what KR went through. Several teams have horrendous injury lists and this score will not be the last. The knee jerk reactions are not helpful. When Wigan lost 75-0 to Saints it effectively finished the promising careers of some good lads at Wigan who were sacrificed to bring in a quick fix.
I would have loved to have seen Kevin Brown reach his potential with us rather than seeing him become an England international with someone else. The problem is that with promotion and relegation that is what happens.
