In today's trade papers they are suggesting Sean Long will get the head coach's job, Rea as CEO and McKay out of the club.
I can see Wigan and maybe Wire and HullFC loaning some of their first team fringe players to London, those plus 4-6 NRL men could form a decent squad.

BTW....you forgot to mention that the new CEO is in his 2nd stint in that role, the coach is untried/untested at this level, the players on offer are all crumbs from the table and the guy with his hands on the purse strings is the same bloke who drove us down this farcical route. If DH controls finances at the club I predict more of the same come September 2014/Feb 2015  |

1. Has a ground been sorted for next year
2. Do you have a financial backer
3. Are Rea and Gus still holding their positions
4. Are the RFL offering any special dispensations for London
5. Will London be competitive or are we flogging two dead horses

I think the game could show some genuine goodwill towards London here. It will be interesting to see how other clubs react as London will obviously be on the lookout for loan players. One from a number of SL clubs may go some way to at least help them bring a squad together.
SL clubs could also benefit from seeing a young fringe first teamer get a season of SL under their belt.

These points are all valid and troubling if the rumours are true. But you are assuming that the rumours are true. Of course anything is possible with David Hughes at the helm. But I would wait till I got confirmation from a credible source before jumping to any conclusions. |

The NRL has refused to register former NZ Warriors' prop Russell Packer's registration with Newcastle Knights. However[i if[/i Russell Packer can win his court case, which involves criminal charges of assault, he would be available for Super League in 2014. That means that he could be available for London Broncos.
[iIn making the decision to knock back Packer's registration, NRL chief operating officer Jim Doyle said his organisation had found enough evidence of behavioural breaches.
"We will always respect the court process and, if the only facts in question are those before the court, then clearly we will ordinarily wait for them to be resolved," Doyle said in a statement on Friday.
"We have also been clear that we will always act on any information that demonstrates behaviour which is contrary to the interests, welfare and image of the NRL.
"While we make no inference in relation to the charges that Russell is facing, our Integrity Unit has reported conduct that leaves us with little choice other than to refuse the application for registration."[/i
