Maybe they will do an in depth report on what Julie will be cooking for young Tom as he turns out for NSW cup side Norths this sunday instead.

Followed by a Burgii family media gathering in the centre of the pitch where Julie screams "WE JUST LOVE AUSTRAAYYYLIAAA".

| Quote: William Eve "I agree.
Putting all your Burgess eggs in the same basket is basket-case folly and will fail miserably when it really counts.
McNamara and England - consider yourself warned!
Hype does not equate to real substance when it really matters.'"
On one thread you say you dont want England to go back to same old failed players of the 2008 debacle, and when it looks like we have two World Class players to pit against the aussies you knock them down!
Well of course McNamara is going to put a lot of his eggs in the Burgess basket, because Barring Tomkins, who else is there!
Most sane people will understand it will take something very special for us to win this WC but we do have a side that can compete and probably at best make the final but the Burgess brothers will be integral to wether we do that or not.
We dont have players of the calibre of say Greg Inglis....oh yes he plays for Souths, where was he today??

The whole family will be there to collect their citizenship papers
Julie, Sam, George, Bo, Luke, Uncle Jesse, Daisy, Boss Hogg and that odd one who drives the tow truck - whatever his name was.

| Just watched the Souths Manly semi so thought I would clear up some of inaccuracies posted on this thread
As he has been all season, Sam Burgess was one of the most dominant forwards on the pitch – he played the full 80 minutes, his work-rate was immense and his defence brutal. He knocked on trying to ground the ball after taking 3 defenders over the line, that may go into the mistake category but it’s a bit harsh as the grounding was very difficult
George and Luke played 48 and 40 minutes respectively. George as usual added a lot of go forward off the bench and left a lot of defenders on the ground. I thought his late effort was a try also
Luke was solid if unspectacular but as good as the other props on the field
One of the posters earlier in the thread said that a George Burgess knock on led to a Manly try – it was actually a Luke Burgess knock on after a ridiculous off load from Bryson Goodwin whose mistake it was
There were a few players in Souths colours who didn’t play as well as they could have, Isaac Luke for example made two mistakes from the base of the scrum (knock on and forward pass) and also knocked on at the play the ball two metres from the Manly line when Souths were 14-8 up just before half time
The Manly comeback was great from 14-0 behind and they deserve all the credit but none of the blame for the Souths defeat lay with the Burgess boys, and in particular not Sam
Here's hoping Sam and George get a couple of weeks rest and come out firing for England

| George Burgess is in his first full season of NRL and is still a very inexperienced player. He's had a very good season. He's had a lot of press this year but knocking him strikes me as a stereotypical British over reaction.

| Gutted that Souths aren't in the final tbh. I was really hoping they would win their league so that we could see Sam and his brothers line up against some SL opposition.
Ah well, there's always next year. Hopefully the Roosters win it now so that we can see the likes of SBW, JWH and Jennings tear through our champions instead

you're falling into the classic rlfans trap of letting good and correct facts get in the way of folk who post on here with a preconceived agenda

| Got to hand it to William Eve, he gets a hell of a lot of bites on here from his trolling.
Amazing he's not been banned really, as we can see from just this thread, when presented with stats that rubbish his ramblings, he goes into hiding.
Good to see he's got a little sidekick too. Every baddie needs a sidekick.
