| I must be missing something with Zak Hardaker. He has got potential to be very good but as a utility back / half i would have Lomax or Ratchford ahead of him.
Both can play at full back and both can cover the halves. Ratchford can also cover centre and wing. To me they are both better defensively and potentially more versatile

| Lineham in the side instead of Pencil D!ck Charnley?
I wouldn't personally, still a year too early for him - but his defence, attack and his ability under the high ball is very good

Aus
The Aussies have plenty of depth in the forwards, add to that list of possibles: Ryan Hoffman, Chris McQueen, Tony Williams, Glenn Stewart, David Taylor etc. Even big Willie Mason is still doing the business for Newcastle!

Besides, even if they haven't got the quickest car, they've still got the best drivers.

DG - Hardaker's not a half, he's an out-and-out fullback, and for me he's the best all round fullback in the league (see his display v Wigan in last year's CC semi). While he doesn't have Tomkins attacking ability or versatility of Ratchford/Lomax, he's a much better full back than either of them.

Oh they absolutely destroy us for depth, even with those odd choices.
We know Hoffman, he was at the top end in SL, not the best though - we have much better. McQueen is overrated, he's just benefiting from the MaGuire effect (basically the same way average players have looked like worldbeaters for Melbourne over the past few years). Williams is effectively a leaner, quicker Karl Pryce - massive potential, had one good year, doesn't seem to have the heart. Glenn Stewart imo is overrated, but he's easily the best on that list there. Taylor has had poor form for a couple of years (injuries not helping), so I'd be wary of judging him right now. Mason isn't a worry.
But, to be fair, our depth is even worse. Take out Burgess and Graham and we're stuffed up front imo.
