Considering other sports and clubs I follow, yes, yes I am. You, however, seem to have a real issue with it all and one hell of an obsession with Salford. I think it's cute, to be honest.

I wouldn't call it an obsession - I'm very interested in the concept of the "ownership model" that Salford have adopted recently. The speed in which success is paramount and will happen at all costs has taken the game in the UK by surprize. One mans quest for glory against all odds is the stuff dreams are made of.
I find it quite exiting to be honest.

The alternative "cease to exist model" didn't gain much favour.

You're jumping on every single little discussion that is Salford related. Even showing glee when things go against us. I know what I'd call that...

Turns out, Whitehead was serious about wanting to go to a top 4 club. I'm not looking to attract abuse for this but Salford are NOT top 4 material at present. Also their seeming failure to capture any of these high profile names they've gone for so far suggests they won't be top 4 material any time soon.

I think that is the main problem.Signing up the first few big names is going to be the tough part due to Salfords current league status.When /If they can achieve this League position will take care of itself and then attracting the top end players will become much easier.Its clearly going to take time though.

Nail on head - those of us of a less light headed nature than some of our supporters have been saying this for a while - what "super-star" would commit to Salford now? There has to be a building process now that we appear to have substantial funding and stability, if next season we can be competing in every game and finishing in the top 8 with a reasonable play off performance, then and only then will players start to believe that Salford could be an attractive place to be.

The good news from my perspective as a long time SCR fan (so well used to false dawns) is that Nobby & the Dr appear to be doing just that, an announcement due on 9th August of, I believe, 8 new signings that I would expect to be a mixture of experience and promise then hopefully we build from there.
