No issue at all with the charges Bailey is facing, but how has Taia escaped a charge for the identical swinging arm to Mitch Achurch's jaw in the second half? Or Mounis for the grapple tackle and head slam on Sinfield late in the game?

Lack of consistency from the disciplinary week to week is one thing, but for identical incidents in the same game it really does take the biscuit.

Like the above I have no issue with the charges bailey is facing. He is a niggly player but by no means alone in SL in that regard. What makes me laugh is this myth he is a coward and only goes after halfbacks. The challenge which got him a red card has been carried out time and time again by forwards on halfbacks kicking. I didn't see much cowardice when he took the ball up into the forwards after the whitehead tackle in the Bradford games. In a take up where you know you are going to get smashed. That takes someone with guts to put their hand up for the first carry. I am no bailey lover but people hiding behind a keyboard calling him a coward does make me laugh

That's only because a shoulder to the head wasn't punished earlier in Superleague. Had it been, Bailey would have spent an awful lot more time sitting in the stands. Personally, I think the punishments should be retrospective. He still has time to serve for that near decapitation on Fa'asavalu at Knowsley Road a few years back. That one incident alone would have seen a ban of at least three matches this season.

The collision between Bailey and Fa’asavalu was pretty much entirely Fa’asavalu’s fault. If you are going to run hard and straight and lead with your face you are going to cop one.

When even Bailey admitted at the time on camera to using his shoulder, that defence is hilarious.

He used his should which was perfectly legal at that time, are you seriously suggesting retrospectively punishing him?

Bailey will get a ban and fair enough, but the vitriol and hyperbole that gets spouted in his direction is way over the top on this board

Seriously though, just because something was legal at the time doesn't mean he had to use it. He used it whenever he could, and to the head as well (hence Fa'asavalu's bloodied nose). Bailey is a thug.

Have you read what your typing? Bailey did nothing wrong hence no penalty and no ban, seriously get over it you obviously have some weird fascination with Ryan Bailey.

He will get a ban for Mondays indescretions and rightly so, but check his record its no where near as bad as is made out.

My point being I find it ridiculous people calling a professional RL player a coward. I wouldn't call any of them cowards. It's easy to sit at home and spout off calling people cowards when the vast majority wouldn't have the guts to run the ball up into the halfbacks never mind the forwards.

True. At least he's never looked at the oppositions fullback and thought "He looks tasty"!

Also, he may niggle and wind players up during a match, but he's never refused to shake hands when the game is over!
