If Halifax win the Championship play-offs they will be promoted into SL (their bid was good enough at the last round to be considered so there is no "can they put together a good enough bid" argument) and Bradford are out. If not then the process will be gone through but Bradford will get the licence. |

Their bid was only good enough to be considered and then rejected. So yes, there [iis[/i a question over whether they can put together a good enough bid. |

| Halifax were used and abused by the RFL last year, and once again the RFL are going to put clubs through a farcial ' fair ' application process to appear open and transparent, absolutely ridiculous  |

IMHO, the most likely outcome will be the Bulls remaining in SL but with a downgrade to a C licence to send a message to the new owner that it puts them in the "at risk" group next time around if he doesn't get their house in order.

I want to see a club that can draw 10k+ in SL, not some financially crippled club drawing 5k. Sorry fax but unless you can get a big money backer or some serious corporate support behind you then I can't see you replacing the Bulls.
I'm still trying to figure out how the Bull's ran up such big debts given the crowds and sponsors they got over the last few years?

I think a club should be able to run a full time squad on the money in SL, but there is no system we could put in place a system which stopped some chairmen making stupid decisions.
Wakefield dont get anymore money now from Sky than they did under Ted Richardson, Andrew Glover has simply proved a much better businessman.
