Gold Coast seems to be a bit of a graveyard...AFL and NRL struggling to get decent gates and the wendyballers going bust......

NRL crowds on the GC have been good up till recently, They avg'd more than Manly last year despite getting the spoon and Manly winning the comp! The team needs to win some and the club needs to get some positive media around it and they will have no probs avg 17-20k.

Aye, I reckon youre right JB...I highlighted the GC att because theirs was the biggest drop of the three lowest Att compared with their 2011 equivalent.

I went for a look on the 'ley' bored the other night and roflmfao'd at a post wishing for the 70's again....cos 'ley' got 5k crowds against Wigan at th old Hilton Park.... Aye, n the other sleeping [deldwarf[/del, I mean giant, was in debt and beaten by an amateur side....My, how they've progressed.

A bloke on vt nailed it earlier this week when he posted that Rugby League has ppl who support their clubs, not the Sport...that needs to change 'else we'll all be playing union.

Just had a quick look and the Sts-Knights down on lst yrs game by 1, 914, and the Broncs -Raiders game up by 8, 639.

Apart from the game in Darwin, the one Im looking out for is Storm-Bulldogs....how long will they remain unbeaten?

Would "double headers" work in Sydney?
Eels, Penrith, roosters and Manly all stumble along on 12k or there abouts.....would you get 50k for 2 NRL games?

The Storms 14k is just about OK, but they are top of the table and on fire.....hopefully they will be able to harvest data from SoO I....
