Now if Cas got a Monday fixture i would struggle to get there but it sounds ok to me,

RL on TV Mon/Wed/Fri leaving a pretty much full weekend to spend with the family/play sport/watch the team of your choice.

Cant see why it isnt worth a try in the wendyball off season.

Usually can Sky Sports after the NFL- not paying those prices for v+ed RL - im generally doing other things on a Friday and Saturday than staying in watching telly.

I think that's the main appeal of it. I reckon I watched more midweek championship games than Saturday evening games that didn't include Wigan last season.

I don't remember all this moaning when the Championship clubs got lumbered with Thursday nights! But oh i forgot they don't count.

true enough but will the new deal with Premier Sports be an improvement on the previous SKY deal for the clubs ?

as an armchair fan of uk RL I don't care if the game is watched by 3000 or 30000 speccies at the ground - I just want to watch a decent contest in the comfort of my living room - end of.

I was disappointed that ESPN didn't get the rights as they would have probably treated the sport (second most watched comp behind football) with the respect it deserves rather than just schedule filler.

Maybe this is the start of something changing for the better

There is no money from PS , there was no money from SKY , we dont yet know if we will retain the Co oP as a sponsor , their input was purely TV coverage based
