| I wish you well for the future, but unfortunately my overriding memory of the Willows is being whacked on the head by a not quite empty coke cup thrown by some scroat in the stand above the terracing behind the sticks.
It's a real traditional RL ground, but after visiting earlier this year for a match against Swinton, you must be happy that you're leaving really?
We have fond memories of Thrum Hall, but the Shay is a far better stadium.

| I have a few memories. Mainly, erm, um, ah...
Oh yes. I had a burger from the van, and spent all the next day spewing up.

| Quote Paul Thexton="Paul Thexton"Inside the ground it was always absolutely fine, the Salford fans are an awesome bunch and a great laugh - it's outside the ground that I didn't like, Weaste is a hole, unfortunately.'"
Absolutely this. Some great craic with the Salford fans over the years (and simply love the "we never win at home and we never win away" song! Real good sports, the Salford fans) but won't miss being pelted with half knackers over the wall by the local scrotes, and my car being attacked by a gang of snotty nosed gluesniffers armed with sticks as I drove away from the ground.

| I remember Donny going to The Willows during the season Salford spent in National League 1 (2003?). The Dons were going through a rough patch at the time and Salford racked up 60+ points. During the match a few Dons fans unveiled a banner which read "We'll Support You Evermore," which was greeted with applause from the Salford fans. It's a moment I'll never forget.

| I've been fortunate enough to visit the Willows quite a few times with Leeds over the past 30 years. I'm going to miss this place more than any other ground that has disappeared over the last 20 years. Cracking place that oozes atmosphere but times do and must change I suppose. Probably my enduring image will be from our last game there when one of the few highlights in a murky year for the Rhinos happened in the delightful try scored by Ryan Hall after two pieces of brilliance from Kallum Watkins and Danny Buderus. I'll miss the club for pre match drinks, the club shop ( where else could you buy a Parramatta shirt for 5 quid!) and finally the Willows site will be forever a corner of Leeds. RIP Chris Sanderson

Lump in the throat stuff when that happened. It was one of those moments that makes you proud to be a rugby league fan.
