So all the tv fans all live thebother side of London , move there then , sorry but as has been posted , you can't claim 6 million potential support base when applying for SL , then say because it takes longer to travel in the smoke , nobody will come , footy and RU clubs manage to get them in

| Got to be Widnes or Halifax in. I'd probably say Widnes. But who would drop to the Championship? The obvious idea would be axe Wakefield. Maybe dropping out for a few years would be good for them.
But maybe it's time to get rid of Quins. RL in London is going okay but is it up to Super League standard? Then again you could say the same for Catalans but getting rid of them would just cancel out all the hard work the RFL have done in France.
Good luck to who ever drops down to Championship and the same to whoever comes up

It will in their licence application no doubt , it certainly would if I was the person filling it in , I wouldn't however be daft enough to claim Leigh have the population of the whole north west to aim for
There are no excuses , you have a massive number of people to aim for , go out and get them

| To be honest I think Toulouse are for 2015 which I think is correct. The problem with crusaders is that they where rushed in. We formed them for the sole reason to get into super league; they even had an extended salary cap. However, I am not criticising them because since they moved to wrexham they have developed into a good side and a club which can be proud of what they have achieved.
I have to praise the RFL for what they are doing with South Wales Scorpions. They are developing a fan base in south wales, developing a team in south wales (I also like the way they invite people from south wales for trials) and they are developing a potential franchise for 2015. I also like the way they are playing the likes of warrington under 20's. This is going to develop their players who will be playing against players who lead a professional life style.

| Widnes are coming in. But I'd rather have Halifax. Widnes have a good support base, and are probably the best option. I'd like to see the RFL take a gamble on Toulouse as well. Out? Wakefield, has to be.

Could you not say that for any fan of any team? I really don't get how people think this is a London issue as an 'acceptable excuse' as Starbug says the bid will refer to the millions living in London so should all be judges appropriately, same with Salford! One min they represent the whole of greater Manchester then the next it's just a part area of Salford!

| The "attendance" thing is a red herring!!!
Saints have just played Warrington at Widnes.
2 of the "premier" teams at a wanabee clubs stadium.
Distance between each of the towns about 10 miles.
"HOTBED" of RL is the area .
They couldn't fill the stadium.
Who's pulling who's leg regarding attendances and potential?
