If that's how sport should work by you, wy don't Man Utd and Chelsea just play one game to see who's best? What a boring, negative view you have.
I can't wait for the RLWC myself, i'm going to do the same as I did in '95 and go to as many games as I can. Reason being, I love the game and enjoy myself watching it. Isn't that the reason people go to games Saddened? I support Leigh, we're never going to win Super League, but I enjoy going to games, so i'll keep going.

| So what actually is the format then for the knockout stages? I mean, I know what the groups are, and who qualifies to go through to the quarters, but who plays who? That wasn't on the press release. Have they not decided or did they just forget to put that part in?
Basically who does 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Group A play in the quarters? Is it 1st in Group A vs 1st in Group C/D? Or do they play 3rd in Group B, with 2nd playing 1st in Group C/D?

You'd have thought that if they'd decided what groups there were gonna be, how many would progress from each group, and even who was actually in each group (and who would play who in the cross-group games) then you'd have thought they would have decided who would play who in the quarter finals! It's the only thing they haven't announced about the format!

Leaving England V Australia on this side of the Pennines, probably the DW Stadium. Ideally I wouldn't mind seeing Wales play England in Wrexham.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

All Wales games should be in Wales IMO. They could get a pretty big crowd for a NZ or Aus game. They got 18,000 10 years ago when Wales didn't even have a super league team.

| Quote: Odemwingie "There is enough fans in Leeds to get a huge crowd there so that is not a problem. Englands semi-final would be quality played infront of a full house at Elland Road.'"
Last years 4 Nations FINAL was played at Elland Rd. Australia v England. It didn't sell out ,what makes you think a semi final would.
I went to the games at Wigan,Huddersfield and the Final and attendances were about 20k for Hudds and Wigan and 30k for the final.
As for the Wigan game the weather was pretty bad,and traffic murder, had to walk last 2 miles to the ground due to gridlocked traffic and missed first 20 mins.Weather has to be factored in ,if its played Oct Nov its going to be cold,I attend international fixtures but would have no interest in freezing my nuts off watching USA v Lebanon. I would just turn up later for the main game, which I suspect a lot of other people would ,which in turn would negate the attraction of the Double header fixture.
Looking at the venues the RL booked for the 4 nations and the relative attendances that they achieved I would say they got it right.Anyone who wanted a ticket got one,and the Stadiums didn't have tens of thousands of empty seats on view for the televised games.Something I suspect would happen if Wembley or another 60K plus stadium were booked.

| The Wales-England game quite simply has to be at the Racecourse. Guaranteed sell-out when you consider the Kop won't be in use, though maybe being a three-sided ground is why the RFL may wish to avoid it?

| I think we should keep the Wales Vs England game in England and play it at DW, closest big stadia to wales. Parc y Scarlets or the Racecourse would be a good place for the Wales vs AUS game both have a good capacity and looking at wales past record in big competitions they turn out!
