That's true. He admitted it this evening in the post-match press conference.

Now, normally I wold agree with you here, but last year saw the largest Quins away following I have witnessed, including play-offs. Estimates were put at between 300 and 400, so if you brought 3,000 to 4,000 someone should tell the inland revenue the cottage burners are under reporting gates because they said your game was 3,015....or it could be that you're just using the world famous HKR calculator.........oh, and as I have said before, away fans don't count for squat.....but if it makes you feel better, keep talking about it......
P.S. Use of the submission smilie is a sign of you thinking you have made an accurate point......you fail...AGAIN!

Seeeing as how in the past you've only taken an abysmal 1000 to a Challenge Cup Semi Final I find it hard to believe you took 300-400 for an SL game.
Don't need to argue our away support because you would lose everytime - it's something many people (inc Sky pundits) compliment us on, whereas with Quins it is almost non-existent.
3000 to Salford on a Friday night
3000 to Leeds on a Saturday night
2000 to Wigan on a Friday night
3000 to Castleford
Etc etc.

I booked the transport.....so believe me, there were well more than 300 there......but I still say, away fans mean nothing....and sky pundits are even more worthless.
Fot the last friggin time, SL licences are not awarded on the number of fans, home OR AWAY that a club has........SL licences are awarded to teams who meet a number of criteria...........including...and this is the important bit, if BSkyB want a team in. 1.2 million to each club is important stuff....look at what happened in 2005. We were let back in after folding pretty sharpish.....SL chairmen know what will happen if BSkyB walk.....and I reckon they know more about the worth of London RL than you or I do.
Please.....you keep digging a hole for yourself.......the submission smilie is making you look very foolish.......

I think most SL chairman would beg to differ.
I think SKY Sports would disagree too.

| I strongly suspect that the Crusaders won't be exactly overwhelmed with grief at the attendance as it'll give them a reason to keep all next season's games at the Racecourse.

the whole exercise seems very poorly thought out, and the 6pm kick off just madness. This game was never going to break attendance records, but a saturday/sunday afternoon kick off would have done better.

You sir are a liar last season the crowd at Salford v HKR was 4224, of which over 3000 were Salford fans, there was possibly 500 HKR fans in the North Stand, which i remember commenting on at the time that they used to bring more. I was there, you on your own admission don't travel out of Hull because that is far enough for expansion.
On another point the PSG game against Salford which had the smallest ever super league crowd, I was there as well, unlike the other games it was played on a Wednesday night, PSG had technically gone bust, the game was not advertised in Paris at all, it was free to get in with all exit door being opened to let people in, the only fans there were Salford fans. The bar in the stadium ran out of beer and I had to go out of the ground and bar some beer from the cafe bar outside and I brought it back in on a tray 4 beers and a coffee.
Oh i was at Wrexham on Sunday when again we took about 500 fans and there were less than 2000 crusaders fans.
