| Wigan never really got out of 3rd gear and played most of the game with only 13 fit players (Riddell was injured 3 times, Coley went off and didn't return, S Tomkins went off and didn't return, McIlorum was injured for a long spell too)
Still a lot of improvement to come from us I feel, all eyes will be on how we perform over the next 2 games. Saints will be a great match, and I feel we'll avoid the potential banana skin against Wakefield.

That's what I state about thinking outside the box!
Leeds have been found out!!
They have gone beyond Leeds and their dubious tactics and Leeds just cannot cope at the moment "full strength team" (whatever that is) or not. I watched buderus last night and even he plays the "Leeds way" and that's not his natural game.
Leeds COULD be a good team again with the players they have but currently they havn't a clue.
The opposition know this and have adapted to counteract the Leeds style.
Leeds hold no fear for ANY team in the Sooooperdoooooper league at the moment.
They could but it needs a change and they can't cope with it at the moment.'"
What do you mean by "found out"?
Please explain
And what do they not have a clue about?

Funny that - most teams missing 9 first team players would right?
Watch, we'll win the next 4 games without breaking stride
Bradford (h), Catalan (a), Hull (h), Hull (a)

I'm not too sure about that.

| watched the first half of wigan / leeds and wigan were brilliant
their defence was absolutely brutal
their attack and defence remind me so much of the melbourne storm
mcguire has worked wonders
if they keep it up, they certainly are the benchmark
it reminded so much of an nrl team, not a sl team
the way they got numbers into the tackle, slowed down the PTB, the massive hits.
leeds didnt know what was coming

| mclennans face looked full of fear
hell get the sack soon if this keeps up
now SL is seeing what talented aussies coaches can be like, people like mclennan and especially mcrae should have their coaching positions under threat

| Wigan- Two outstanding wingers and stand off, the rest are average players. They are very fit and are working well as a team, i can see them dropping as the season continues. If the coach gets it right with subsequent signings they could go well in the next season or two.

Carmont - Dream team in his first season here.
Gleeson - GB international for years, has been superb for us.
Phelps - Was the best FB at the back end of last year and the start of this year.
Riddell - Outplayed Berrigan and Buderus this year! Has been superb.
Coley - Have you seen him this season?
Hansen, Mossop, Tomkins, Bailey - The best backrow in the league by quite some distance!
Lockers - The best 13 in the competition, also by quite some distance.
Very average team. Lets be honest you can't be top of the league after 8 games, only losing one, playing so well, and have a team of average players. You are just blinded by the fact that they were poor last season, that does not make them poor players.

| While they have more than 3 decent players there aint half some average ones in that team. Carmont, Gleeson, Leuleui, Coley, Fielden and Ridell are all VERY average in the starting 13 and that's just off the top of my head

Name 5 better centres in super league than Carmont and Gleeson.
Coley has been one of the best props in the league this season.
You obviously have not seen enough of Riddell.

| Over the years I've seen plenty, I think he's about as average as they come, not necessarily poor, just average.
I would say Senior, Delaney, Gidley, Whatuira, Bridge and Shenton are better than Carmont, the first five Gleeson.

I was wrong, you got me..... you actually havn't seen enough of Carmont then.
Ok, who cares, right now we are the top team in the league, and thats all that matters. The best TEAM always wins the league, so if thats us I will be more than happy.

As a Leeds fan I would say Eastwood, Ali, JJB & Ablett are as good if not better than yours but by no way some distance behind.
And the Lockers Sinfield thing has been done to death but again I would say there is not "some distance" in the two.

Senior, write him off at your peril.
Delaney, has not played enough over here yet for any opinion to be formed.
Gidley, is as tina says simply the best.
Whatuira,Not as good as Carmont. Unless you a midget fan.
Bridge, your having a laugh. Take your blue and yellow glasses off.
Shenton, no disrespect to Cas but a move to a top side would realise his full potential.
Would have Carmont in front of all them except Gidley and Shenton.
