Leeds Rhinos
Bramley Buffalos
Hunslet Hawks
Bradford Bulls
Halifax Blue Sox (cracking town centre btw and would only get better if fax where in SL)
Castleford Tigers
Featherstone Rovers
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
Keighley Cougars
Hull FC
Hull KR
Huddersfield Giants
I’d just go back to 12 teams. A super league existing in some of these areas would totally regenerate these places.
Try telling the businesses that who’ll profit from my Yorkshire Super League Dream..'"
Who was in the challenge cup semi finals
Warrington Wigan saints Huddersfield’s
Also wasn’t the biggest Attendance in super league a Wigan V Saint match and the Attendance was 24,028 at dw stadium.

Tbf though the Hull derby would easily hold the SL record by now if Hull City weren't obsessed with holding the KC Stadium attendance record.

| record of attendance for a super league regular fixture was 25,004 at wigan saints.
yorkshire has got along way to go with matching the success of the lancashire teams- the two most successful teams in english rugby league are wigan and saints, and im sure widnes arent far behind.

Would imagine Bradford's trophy record from 96-06 matches Widnes' or Saints' most successful 10-year spell though to be fair.

We all know Hull KR's new stadium will eclipse it when they build a 2,000,000 seater stadium. And still their away contingent would be locked locked out.

My point was, James Rule said they could easily have sold 30,000 tickets for the first SL game between the two (presumably he was basing that on enquiries etc), which I reckon is true.

Not really. Bradford won 4 league titles and 2 challenge cups in that period.
Saints won Superleague 5 times between 1996 and 2006 and were runners-up twice. They won the Challenge Cup seven times between 1996 and 2008.
Widnes were in a final every season for 14 consecutive seasons in the 1970s and 1980s, including 7 Wembley appearances in 10 years.
To be fair, Bradford have at least now equalled Swinton's record of 6 championships.
Still, you Yorkies finally have a premiership football team to compete with. There's 8 of them in Lancashire, BTW.

Isn't the record for a RL international?

Might be, but between the three clubs it's Hull City. They can have 24,800 packed in against Leeds United a few years ago, but for our game segregation means only 23,000 are allowed, work that one out.

You need to allow 10% of the number of unreserved seats empty due to H&S regs, IIRC. Hull FC have much much more reserved areas than Hull City (in fact, do they have any?). The only reason City can't sell out is because of segregation.
If FC/KR wanna get a higher attendance, the KC need to sell only reserved tickets to Rovers fans and in the Upper tier, which is definitely do-able. But since the last two derbies haven't been sell-outs, there hasn't been a need to.
