34439.jpg winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Pick me for Origin - Wendell Sailor. WENDELL Sailor has labelled himself the Maroons' version of Winter Olympics accidental hero Steven Bradbury, but his improbable Origin cameo is gaining steam.
Queensland coach Mal Meninga declared yesterday a sensational Origin rebirth for 34-year-old Sailor, after eight years in the wilderness, a firm possibility.
Meninga has slammed suggestions the evergreen Dragons flyer is merely a fallback option for a Maroons camp seeking a historic fourth straight crown.
Sailor has produced an age-defying purple patch over the opening month of 2009 to turn back the clock to his glory days as a Broncos favourite.
Meninga argues his unique charisma and wealth of experience could yet prove a trump card.
Sailor has likened his claims for a Cinderella-like second coming in the Origin arena to speed skater Bradbury's gold medal at the 2002 Winter Games.
The flamboyant flyer mused he would need a mini-miracle to wear Maroon again, given the backline riches at Meninga's disposal.
"Nah, I think they've got too many good players," Sailor said. "If it's like Steve Bradbury and everybody's falling down, I'm certainly available.
"But you've got Darius Boyd, Israel Folau, Justin Hodges, Karmichael Hunt, Matty Bowen - you don't need Sailor, I don't think."
Sailor played the last of his 14 Origin matches in 2001 after making his debut in 1996. He also played for Queensland in the 1997 Super League Tri-Nations, in addition to 16 Tests and five Super League Tests.

| The dell is actually one of the form players of the competition at the moment. If the Dragons and Dell can continue with their current form i would have no hesitation in saying the Dell will join Falou as the Queensland wing combo..

Sailor wouldn't have let Junior Sau power in at the corner.

i dunno what you mean?
if you mean the try that guy scored when dell was off and soward and nightingle tried to tackle him then yeah.
they thin shifted nightingale to the other side and he missed another tackle for a try.
smith, poore and dell came off together and they score 3 straight.
saints blew that game.
14- 6 h/time at home, got to win, especially vs knights

yeah the knights are smart.
the minute he went off they went straight to that side and then we just collapsed.
and the try up the middle was where jeremy smith defends but i think he was benched at the time
saints were due for a loss anyway, theyve been getting too much publicity and people talking about all their players making origin
its just they get 2 points against brisbane in brisbane and then drop two points at home with a good lead and 20 mins left on the clock
