| Ignoring the trolls, Saints too good, better team first half, but we dug in, they stepped up and capitalised on their mistakes. Saints will win the league, we will finish in the top 4 (Both injuries permitted, as it has such a big impact on the game)
Lomax, best player in the league.

Whose crying? Got beat fair and square by the best team. As said we will finish near the top, you near the bottom, I'd be more concerned about Wakefields win than Hull, but that sums you up.

Sums you up you can't take ribbing back. Take a look at our forum after Leeds trouncing.Free for all from gloating fc fans.(tbf you weren't one of them).
To pretend we don't like each other's teams losing is disingenuous. The difference is we haven't been gobbing off about how good we are

In what way can't Dave take a ribbing back? He posted his view of the result and you replied by simply saying "Don't cry".... that ain't a ribbing, it's one of the stupidest and most childest replys I've seen on this forum for quite some time.
Hull fans haven't been gobbing off. Most predicted a top 4 finish which is jardly gobbing off. Even if you look on the thread on the Hull forum about the Saints match, most were expecting to lose and were just hopeful of keeping it tight and giving a good account of ourselves.
Anyway, on the result I don't think losing by 14 to the league's best team is too much of a poor result, it's more the manner of conceding 4 trys in 10 minutes and a very sudden game over which is the disappointing part. Glad they showed a bit of fight to regroup and get a couple more trys back in the final 15 minutes.

| Standard reply on forums I think you will find.. The fact it got up your nose is just a bonus. I did listen to the game and expected Hull would win. Hope the injuries aren't as bad as sounded and a strong squad travels to Wigan game

| Some stupid errors from hull simply gave saints too much quality field position in the 2nd half. 2 kick outs on the full, playing the ball with no acting half when in their 10, stupid offloads when well placed. Saints have too much quality and took advantage. First half saints made the mistakes and it was much closer

| An excellent 2nd half from Saints which really turned things around from the 1st half. There was a few grumbling’s from the Saints fans when the hooter went at HT, not the defensive part but the attacking. But the Blitzkrieg at the start of the 2nd half calmed the nerves and fan’s were saying “i knew we’d come good”. Lomax & Fages were superb, but also credit where it’s due to Paulo who i thought had a cracking game even though he’s not the most popular of players at the club. It was good to see Swift have a decent game for FC, he won’t let them down. But the win has made the journey home an enjoyable one.

Sounds like a good summary, impressive response from Saints after last week. Unless injuries hit it’s difficult to see them not getting to Old Trafford again, even at this early stage. I know Hull had a few missing as well but to do that without Coote, Percival and Roby shows how good they are. I think it’ll be between Hull and Wigan for second place, although I don’t think Lam or Radford are great.

Yeah agree, they are the benchmark, we had 6 players (Add in to that Naulogo off injured, Lane playing with an injury and Fonua not fit) out of our 17, when this happens we just dont have the quality to replace them, particulary in the forwards, we don't seem to produce the young squad players that Saints and Wigan do.
Strongest 17 against Stongest 17 I think in a one off game we could beat anyone, we just don't have the squad to or menatally to do it week in week out and finish at the top. Wouldn't suprise me to see us win the cup again, but I really want us to get to the Grand Final.
