| Sam Burgess and Widdop probably the stand out for the English in the NRL this weekend.
George Burgess made 2 errors soon after coming on for Souths, Tom not on the bench.
Canberra wiped by a rampant Cronulla side scoring at will and being all over the Raiders pack. Hodgson & Whitehead did little wrong though, Jordan Turner played in the reserve grade and had a good game my scouts tell me, although, I am not certain he will make the grade at Canberra.
I didn't see the Titans game but Greenwood scored as mentioned, he will go "ok" in what is a low/mid level NRL team and may get a regular slot.
James Graham always gives everything at Canterbury but not good enough as a team this weekend.

| Has Sarginson made any howlers yet? Only a matter of time.

| I saw his match last week and he was ok but nothing really to shout home about.
Not even sure how he got on this week, the lads at the Titans should really be making waves as it is not a great team.

Daniel Sarginson didn't play this last weekend because of injury. But he has been picked to play in the centres next weekend in what should be a tough home ground encounter with a rampant Parramatta. The Titans unfortunately will be without their injured super star Jarryd Hayne and winger Anthony Don.

Phillip "Gus" Gould last year identified Joseph Greenwood as a good prospect for the NRL.

| Did anybody actually see Greenwood's try? It's pretty ridiculous, definitely worth tracking down if you have the time.

| Joseph Greenwood was there to take the final pass from Christopher McQueen and score, but it was not brilliance from Joseph Greenwood but rather a desperate team effort that led to the try.

| Greenwood played well today, no mistakes, creates a try with a knock back and played the ball quickly for a try to be scores by his dummy half. He is settling in well, I don't think he will ever be a world beater but he was always steady.
No sign of Sarginson.

Pulled out with a knee injury I believe. Is it just me or does Greenwood never seem to do the 'hard yards' off his own line? Can't remember him doing it once vs the Eels

I see what you mean. Probably just trying to settle into the team and not wanting to make too many mistakes or get in the way trying too hard early on which is probably a good move long term, he has done well to find himself in the run on team so quickly after his move. On the whole he was good, worked hard in defence and did some nice things as alluded to by Sadfish. Full 80 minutes too i think. As he settles i expect him to do some damage on the left edge running those good lines of his, good luck to the lad.

I read an article this morning from a Greenwood interview. He said he was still learning the team playing patterns but his biggest problem was training and playing in the heat, he's gone from 5 degrees to 28 degrees in a couple of weeks. So maybe he's playing on the edges until he gets accustomed to the climate.

| So the Burgess Twins are probably out of the NRL now, George made a few errors this morning in his off the bench stints and got sent off for 10 mins for a swinging elbow, although he also had a try dissallowed, he and George are both slipping out of first team due to error counts and I reckon this is the end of them at Souths.
Sam didn't play well either in an error ridden game worthy of SL Standard which Souths just about won, but he has the class the other 2 don't.

Whitehead was worst on field.

Be great to see the Burgess twins back in our comp. Whatever their form they have yet to hit their prime as front rowers so hope you are right.
