Which probably equates to about six (6) minutes of play.

| Hayne had a lot of sympathy amongst RL fans and Para fans when he left to 'follow his dream' in the NFL. He lost a little bit of shine but his halo stayed intact when he tried to 'follow another dream' to play in the Olympics. That backfired big time, failing to secure an Olympic place AND destroying much of the value he would have had for RU. He was negotiating with the Waratahs but it fell through because he couldn't get any extra ARU money as he was ineligible for the Wallabies (having played about 5 minutes of 7s with Fiji).
So then he hawks himself around the NRL, and goes to the highest bidder. In the process making himself a hate figure to Para fans.
I don't blame him for going for the most dough, as he's probably lost out on a lot playing reserves in the NFL. He's a star player and having him back in RL is a major plus, especially for the Titans (I'm still waiting for the great benefits to the sport from him trying NFL BTW....). But all this 'following my dream' rubbish has been truly nauseating.

Hayne left the NFL because he could not learn the new SF 49ers coach's playbook.
Most if not all of Hayne's fellow NFL players had been to college and knew how to study. Hayne was a high school drop out and had no clue about how to study.
Sad really.

Isnt Wiki wonderful Barry . "He attended school at John Warby Public School, Leumeah High and Westfields Sports High School but dropped out of high school early to pursue a career in rugby league."

| Claims he could only ever play for Parra. Parra makes an offer. He turns it down then claims Parra never made an offer so signs with the Gold Coast.
What a grub

| Parramatta offered Hayne $700,000 a year. Gold Coast offered him $1.2 million.
Big difference.
Hayne wanted very much to play for Parramatta, but he could not forgo $500,000 a year in order to do so.
Not a grub, just a rational actor.

as I said, which you clearly chose to ignore, is the fact he lied about it and claim that they never made an offer. Ergo, he's s grub

| Attendances at C-bus Stadium went from max of 15,000 to 25,000 when Jarryd Hayne debuted. Shows the wisdom of signing him.

| I hope he plays for Fiji in the WC.
Sutton and Hayne in the halves and Fiji will be a force to be reckoned with.

| By 'reckoned with' I assume you mean they could threaten England? They won't trouble NZ or Australia even if every Fijian qualified NRL player sigend up for them.
