Quote: chissitt "Bit of a lame excuse that squire, you dont hear of the midget fans having trouble at other grounds where the fans mix. One solution though would be to take a few more fans and then just maybe they might give you the away stand the one they normally reserve for away fans, just a thought really.'"

I agree, maybe if Wigan weren't money saving by not opening a stand they wouldn't force 500+ fans in with the home lot and thereby create the problem to start with.

The stand was never offered as the tickets sent to the Giants were for the side stand only - They never intended to open it.

The mix of playing a game at 6:45pm and all day drinking doesn't help.

I like Tomkins, he has a competitive attitude that all decent halfbacks need, if that occasionally comes over as over aggressive or niggly then I'm not too concerned, the positives outweigh the negatives.

Huddersfield didn't bring 500 supporters. In fact, there wasn't even half of that.

Why the hell should we open a stand holding 5500 for less than 500 fans? The real point here is if you had enough fans, the away stand would be open.

You know you've got a good un when the home fans love him and the away fans tend to hate him and deny his talent. I'd be so happy to see this cheating, niggly, talentless player play out his days at Wigan. He does remind me of that other talentless cheat we used to have called Shaun Edwards. If only we'd have got rid of him earlier we would have won so many more trophies. icon_biggrin.gif

So what you're saying is, Hudds fans don't mix well with other supporters and should therefore be kept separate? What a shame the Birthplace of RL can't produce friendly and sociable fans like most other clubs.

We only open the North Stand for clubs who bring enough to warrant the cost. Must be embarrassing to be lumped in with Catalans, Quins and Crusaders in that respect.

Anyway, looking forward to the outcome of rlKeith Mason's charge sheetrl later on. Odd, considering how dirty he is, that Sam Tomkins rlhasn't been cited!rl

According to many bitter, bitter crust munchers there were over 500 there.

I am surprised there was any trouble, but all day drinking a late kick off may be to blame for that (and the low crowd too), but probably the main problem was the crust munchers expecting a walkover and instead seeing their party spoiled.

Sorry, next time we will stick to the script.

anyway, of course Tompkins hasnt been cited, didnt you know he is the new messiah?

icon_lol.gif Were you even there? There were a couple of hundred, if that.

We all ended up just laughing at the Hudds lot standing up gesticulating and yelling at the Wigan sections only a few yards away. And your classy females screaming like maniacs at the Wigan couple sat on the row in front after the fight kicked off (they moved after a while). And the comedy fat boy I mentioned earlier. To be fair, beating the top of the table must be like all your birthdays come at once, so enjoy your moment.

But - if your lot can't handle a few beers before a game, I suggest the majority stay away. That way you could all fit on a double-decker bus and save yourselves a fortune, and we'll all have a nicer time.

You open it for other teams. We opened our away stand for 150 Castleford fans last year when we were on Sky.

I wonder how many Gooners will spontaneously combust if Mason gets no case to answer at Red Hall today?

That's because they bring a reasonable amount of fans.
