Would be having a look at Deon Cross, Watkins and maybe Shorrocks at Salford, hopefully they get any issues sorted though it's never nice to see a club struggling like that (maybe with 1 or 2 exceptions )

It’s certainly more than a small issue to need £500K to see them through the close season and a real concern not just in the immediate time but for the coming season.

Would hope now we’ve released Walker, Tindall and Smith we can make a move for some players like Cross, Watkins, Ormondroyd and Hellewell.

And while it’s not nice to see clubs struggling if a deal can be agreed that benefits us and helps Salford & the game then it’s win win for me.

Cross would be a great addition and greatly improve us in the centres. Think Ormondroyd and Hellewell would both be decent additions and strengthen us and give more depth in front and second row options

Plus he played with Myler at Leeds

Super League is lacking in quality, and it would be a shame to lose one of the better teams to watch. Or see it broken up.

Need as many decent teams as we can get.

Without a quota spot there isn't much at Salford I'd make a move for, we are well covered in those positions or it isn't worth a fee for the other non quota players.

Still can't believe we aren't looking for some more depth at centre.

We don't really have much strength in depth anywhere in the squad if you take out our young players which leads me to think we either have a reasonable amount of cap left or the salary cap management still isn't great. Maybe we've had to pay over the odds for some players but realistically we haven't got that many senior players who won't be in the starting 17 if everyone is fit

Not many teams do, mainly because of the cap, take Wigan, while there pack is strong, there back ups for FB, centre and wing are all young very inexperienced kids.

Would we take any of Salford players? We should of been in for Bullock to start with so maybe he's one
