For years I never even noticed the link between Keighley's name and the alternative meaning.
Until yesterday when my girlfriend heard the draw and was in tears with laughter.
And to think she says sportsmen are immature!

I think there's 3 on the BBC. 2 on Saturday and one on Sunday. Sky probably wont take one.

I can't see the BBC showing more than 2, one Saturday one Sunday. Only really Wigan vs Cas looks like being a chance of a contest out of the four games.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| I didn't know this but Wigan haven't lost a home Cup match since 1986
The last team to beat them... Cas.

Nobody gave cas a chance that day the game finished 2-10 and cas went on to lift the cup. Wigans last home cup loss before that was again against cas.
I think this will be a cracking game and from a cas point of view it will be a huge occaision regardless of the result. I still can't believe a date still hasn't been set.

| Nice to see all 4 games on TV from a Rugby League fans point of view. I dread to think what the crowds will look like on tele from a neutral point of view though.

4 days, 4 matches. Can you be there at them all to help boost the crowds?
I'll be at Leeds of course, watching my lads turn them over

The Thursday kick off isn't going to help Widnes/Keighley is it? What cretin thought that one up!

| Quote: Biff Tannen "if this game played this weekend I would say it would be a test for Wigan.however, the next round is 2 months away and cas have a tough period of fixtures coming up and although superb at home, have not played any of the top sides away yet.a couple of beat downs and injuries and this tie becomes routine.
we will have to see,but I think when the ties come round Wigan, leeds, wire and widnes will coast to the semis.'"
I hold my hands up cas fans, proved me and others on this thread well and truly wrong and are looking the real deal.Powell seems to have worked some kind of magic and who knows what could be achieved this season.
just hope you dont get the ultimate VT curse...a flexwheeler 'this cas team thread...' started
