I rarely start the union comparisons.

I'm flattered you've taken the time to read all my posts. What are your thoughts on my stance regarding expansion, the RFL way v the NRL way?

Really? So you've not read all my posts thoroughly then? I'd not.be so quick to judge then buddy.....if you don't have a point if view or anything to add to the debate them you really do come across as a waste of space.
Just for you...
Melbourne being owned by the com owner and senior broadcast partner worked........London being left to fend for themselves in one of the most expensive regions on the planet hasn't........and the RFL and some narrow minded club chairmen are to blame!

| London Broncos will be rescued shortly ... for the time being.
Who the Broncos will be able to buy from the NRL at this late stage is a troubling question. There are some unhappy campers Down Under (Josh Hoffman, Kevin Locke, Blake Ferguson for example). But whether any of them will come to London to play in a pack that consists of a handful of young southern England novices, under a coach like Tony Rea, is very questionable.
However, if Tony Rea and Gus McKay are still holding down their current positions by the middle of 2014, then you can be certain that 2014 will be the last season for London Broncos in Super League.

Yes, it's a pity. The WC has well and truly sunk Bradford and has caused real strife between the SL Chairmen. I'm surprised more folk haven't picked up on that.

| In today's trade papers they are suggesting Sean Long will get the head coach's job, Rea as CEO and McKay out of the club.
I can see Wigan and maybe Wire and HullFC loaning some of their first team fringe players to London, those plus 4-6 NRL men could form a decent squad.

| I think there will be a lot of young players on loan and not a lot of permanent signings at London this year

Erm, I've heard Gus isn't employed any more...
CEO in place who knows RL - Yup
Coach employed - Yup
Ground all lined up - Yup
Players sorted - In progress but none of the idiotic signings our American friend is pulling out of the hat
RFL - Dragging their feet again.

Don't tease us....heard from where???
BTW....you forgot to mention that the new CEO is in his 2nd stint in that role, the coach is untried/untested at this level, the players on offer are all crumbs from the table and the guy with his hands on the purse strings is the same bloke who drove us down this farcical route. If DH controls finances at the club I predict more of the same come September 2014/Feb 2015

| Seriously what's the actual state of London right now?
1. Has a ground been sorted for next year
2. Do you have a financial backer
3. Are Rea and Gus still holding their positions
4. Are the RFL offering any special dispensations for London
5. Will London be competitive or are we flogging two dead horses

| I think the game could show some genuine goodwill towards London here. It will be interesting to see how other clubs react as London will obviously be on the lookout for loan players. One from a number of SL clubs may go some way to at least help them bring a squad together.
SL clubs could also benefit from seeing a young fringe first teamer get a season of SL under their belt.
