Not only that, Saffy said he didnt know Rugby League even existed when he played in RSA. He came over and played union and had little interest in League until he got a bit older!

the reason i would have norths v broncos is that they have both already been to the cape and helped us, wendal sailor came with a guy called jon ribot with bob moore and a fellow named paul morgan them and wayne bennet in 93 and the norths came i think about 6 months later the whole squad, they were great guys that was before rugby league decided they wanted to work with the white man only, and that is why rugby league does not exist in south africa today when they through cape town away. yes i am accusing the rl of racism.

In the way that they went broke, stone motherless broke, and died, and are no longer in the top grade, and are a black hole for development, and no one cared, and they dont sit in 5th place on the NRL ladder.

sorry mate had not realised the bears were out of the big league i apologise we do not get any coverage of rugby league i only found the web sites the other week. as for the racism in league it is amazing that the rl guys have entertained these white guys in joburg, there again it was the english barla and the british army, hopefully the oz students will ave realised what is going on here, and we can get a constitution drawn up allowing the game to flourish and be shared amongst the whole of south africa, it would be terrible for league if it got the racist tag, as apart from the rhinos, the game certainly is not in general seen as racist or classist.
