| Catalans could beat Wigan and if other results go their way Catalans could end up in 6th place instead of their current 7th. Then it is on for all and sundry.

| Any of the sides down to 8th could finish as high as fifth. I fully expect Wakefield to beat Hull next week, Hull are in freefall at the moment and with Connor injured that's only going to get worse, and have little to play for now whereas next weeks game is actually Wakefields best shot at avoiding the Middle eights.

It's not really "on" at all though, is it.
Regardless of what happens after the split, the top 4 is just about nailed on and although there may be a little bit of movement among 2nd, 3rd and 4th, the rest of the top 8 wont make any impact on these sides.
Any one from four could join Widnes, Salford & KR in the middle 8's and this may go down to the last round of fixtures in the regular season.
Assuming Catalan make the top 8, it will have been one hell of a turnaround and you would expect them to make certain of their spot next week, against a spluttering Salford side and they can then turn their attentions to The Challenge Cup

My train of thought is as i twas at the start of the thread....that Wakey v Hudds will be a key fixture........still will be IMHO.

Jesus, I have a life outside of RLFANS old boy, and I don`t mean sat there researching attendances.
Your thoughts would was that Leeds would win all 3 of there games before the split and that they was never really in threat of the bottom 4, well it is the first game out of those 3 and they have already not won, so you were wrong there already... You made a thread asking whether it would be Wakefield or Hudds which baffled me and still does? We were absolutely dreadful and still managed a draw against Leeds.
The fact that Leeds are now relying on either of the teams above them to lose both of there games and them to win both of there games when they have not won a single super league game in 8 suggests that they are very much in the dog fight that you don`t even want to put there name against.
FWIW I think Wakefield, Hudds, Catalan and Leeds will all pick up victories this weekend and that will be game set and match for the split, you honestly sound as delusional as BM when it comes to Leeds, why can you not just admit that they have more of a chance at this stage of been in that bottom 4 than either Wakefield or Hudds?

| I think that Wakefield will win next week vs Hull and the Wakefield v Hudds Game will decide whether Hudds or Leeds are in the Middle 8's.

They didn't, but the 2 cocky sods who said "see you Friday" were nowhere to be seen......Wakefield are still very much in the mix.

Ah.....the Submission emoje.......wow....and there was me thinking that forums were for debate? As is stands, if the table standings play out this week then Hudds v Wakey will still be the decider.....so the thread is still relevant....

| All still to play for this week. Its pretty much a given that Catalans and Leeds should win this week, but I don’t think that both Hudds and Wakey will both lose. I’m confident that we can beat Hudds, but if they perform how they did against Wigan they could turn us over. I’d also have Wakey as slight favourites to beat Hull, depending on Hulls injury list and whether they can get a few bodies back. It could very well go down to the last game between Hudds and Wakey, but this weeks results are far from predictable.
