实事求是!: |
|
| What has gone wrong at Huddersfield? I guess with the predicament of last years treble winners Leeds, Huddersfield's fall from grace this season has gone largely under the radar.
Last season, they had a chance of winning the LLS in the last game of the season. Mathematically it was a real possibility. This season now they have finished bottom and have lost against the only 2 decent teams they have played in the Middle 8's. They brought in a new coach and it's made no difference.
I know salford are in some sh*t, but the ability of their team is top 8, they just had a points deduction. Hull kr will rally with peacock taking the field.
Huddersfield could well be the ones who finish up getting relegated.

Wow!
He must be bloody brilliant to drag the other 16 "non SL standard" players to 3 wins from 3 against SL teams.
Might whack a tenner on him for Man of Steel 2017!

Should beat it no problem. 3 potential 12k sellouts v Wigan, Warrington and Saints.
If we do well, 7k will be good. If in the bottom 4, around 6k.
Either way, It don't matter. Leigh away support will boost the coffers of existing sl teams too.

| This promotion of Leigh to Super League is the worst decision in the history of Super League, other than the demotion of London and Bradford.
Leigh is a suburb of Wigan, with no train station nearby and hellishly difficult public transport connections. Yes, it draws bigger crowds than Salford, but that is no criterion for promotion. Bradford and London deserve to be back in Super League, and Leigh deserves to be in a better run Championship with the likes of Halifax, Sheffield, Featherstone and Batley.
I look forward to Toulouse decisively defeating Leigh in the Million Pound Game at the end of 2017.

| Glad the middle 8s are actually doing what they're meant to now, hope Leigh can poach a few glory supporters from Wigan, and not go straight down again.

But it wasn't a decision though Jean, promoting Widnes was a decision, putting Catalans in S.L. was a decision, Leigh have achieved promotion fair & square.

I await with bated breath for you to tell me whose decision it was to promote Leigh and relegate Bradford and London, in a system that employs promotion and relegation. This should be good.

| OK, perhaps "decision" with regard to the promotion of Leigh was a poor choice of words.
I should have written that I think that the decision to have P & R instead of licensing is one of the worst decisions ever made by the RFL. The promotion of Leigh, was, apart from the demotion of Bradford and London, the worst outcome in the history of Super League.
The sooner we get licensing back the better. We need London and Bradford, Toulouse and Toronto, and eventually Montreal and Avignon, playing in Super League. Only then will rugby league be taken seriously as an international sport.
