| I always find it amazing how many experts outside Wakefield and Cas there are on this subject.
For what it is worth, I wouldn't like to share a ground but would do if that's the only way to play on (with caveats)
For those having a go at the Cas ground, I think it is fine. There is too much pressure put on to change to brand new stadiums when Cas are in a more unique place of being able to modernise their own. I would not mind it as a visiting supporter.
Belle Vue on the other hand is in need of much more work. We need the stadium far more than Cas do so where they might have a choice of staying or moving, I don't think we have the same choice at all.
The new setup has proved the club being run in a more professional manner can draw crowds in as much as success on the field can. Wakefield could be very successful with the changes that are possibly ahead.
Are we in a new stadium yet. No. Can we be. Yes. Will we be, well it looks promising but still work to be done.
Contrary to what others have said above, Wakefield have had big crowds in the past so it is clearly possible. For Cas there is a different kind of catchment area but the fact that when they were relegated their crowds were often bigger than their Super League counterparts shows they have a loyal supporter base that can easily be added to.

I've seen sketch after sketch regarding these bad boys and we've got waterparks, theme parks, zoos and revolving restaurants attached to them. They are set in stone. Golden. About to start any day now.
Any day...now. Honest.'"

Maybe the All New Bulls could groundshare at Headingley or Huddersfield ?'"
Why would we want to groundshare????
In case you forgot, I'll remind you, we have a ground, that is owned by the sports governing body, who are very unlikely to boot us out, for many a reason.......
Now tell me again why the All New Super Bulls need to consider ground sharing? What would be the driving factor behind a share?
Wakey and Cas on the other hand, may be forced to share.....

Cas won't be forced to do anything. We own our own ground (one of very few). We have a board of directors who answer to the shareholders (again - one of very few).

You've just answered your own question there. So - Bulls are protected by the RFL owning Odsal – the same governing body that will force Wakey and Cas to groundshare. Hilarious.

Sorry Bullpower, it was only meant as a flippant remark and of cours you are right that the Bulls and Leeds should never share a ground but, the Wakey / Cas thing keeps being banded round like the two clubs are in the wrong by wishing to be independent of each other and as I have said many times, IF Wakey and Cas do groundshare, then the next step would likely be some kind of merger, which the supporters of both clubs dont want, in the same way that you wouldn't want to merge with Hudds or Leeds or Halifax (all of which are in similar proximity to Bradford).
Even you have used the phrase "forced to share", WHY ?
If the RFL buy one iconic traditional ground, whilst forcing most others to disappear, then why didnt they protect the others ?

Central Park
Wilderspool
Craven Park
Knowsley Road
The truth is that they dona actually want historic grounds (apart from yours of course , they want shiny TV friendly grounds.
Once again, as is the modern trend, style over substance

The bottom line is yes it would be nice if all clubs could have shiny stadiums with good views and clean loo's, but they dont and currently SL has 4 west Yorkshire clubs playing out of old stadiums, but they are all just about fit for purpose, even Headingly ( nice grass ) , so theyll just have to carry on as they are'"
You mate are a star (literally) for stating the obvious.
Why this simple fact evades the like Smokey is beyond belief.
If every team in SL got 50k attendances every week there would still be a bottom club DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS SMOKEY.
The classic example of this which buggers up his argument completely that only well supported teams win prizes is his own club. Throughout the 80's and 90's Leeds had the second best support and cheque book after Wigan and won Jack. Wigan still have the best buying power but can't buy a title. Hull continue to get big crowds but seem no nearer a breakthrough.
Wakefield and Cas look unlikely to win much for now yet Wakey especially offer spirited and competitive matches most of the season to all teams including Leeds. In 2004 but for a dodgy call at Wigan would have made the semi final of the play offs. So we do rise occasionally, and in 2004 from nowhere we produced a competitive team, what we couldn't do was sustain it.
I firmly believe it's not just money but a winning mentality that creates teams that win - the latter the most important.
I do not believe that should Wakeys new ground yield the 10k+ averages this will make us a competitive team. It will be a seed change in the clubs mentality that will cause it, the money will just help sustain it. Truth is it's more about who runs your club.

Yes, I understand A club needs to finish bottom every year, but it doesn’t need to be the same club you complete buffoon.

Not at all. Im not sure there is enough space in SL for 5 West Yorkshire clubs, certainly not 6.
I’ve said for a long time Wakefield have real potential, sadly for too many years they weren’t run particularly well, and I still think that they and Cas spend too much time worrying about each other and not enough about just getting the bodies through the gates.
Saying that, I also think a successful Wakefield will make it much more difficult for Cas to grow.

There is only one patronising buffoon on here and that's you. A wanabee expert/insider who actually doesn't have a clue. You don't get RL and you never will, I pity you to be honest.
