A question to all of you who have helped make this thread reach 36 pages in such a short time:
Do you really think afl and union fans sit around all day discussing rugby league? The more you talk about something, the more strength you give to its cause. The more you feel the need to bag something, the more it shows that you feel threatened by it. Stop being so insecure.

I doubt whether AFL fans or Union fans even know the NRL exists.
By the look of things the Sydney based RL fans seem to have the same problem.

even worse they come on rl sites pretending to be fans of rl and always talking the sport down lol
i just like there are so many of my fellow aussies that hate union as much as i do

Roopy said they haven't one, I haven't got a clue about it as I don't live in Newcastle.
When I start saying NFL invented the up and under or that a side who haven't had possession always look like scoring I'll look silly.
Not to mention losing my driving licence.

I thought they had a top 4 squad...still believe they do, but they need to perform better. Anyone other than a very average sharks team would have beaten them today IMO.
M4E .........it may be hard to grasp, but over here, RUGBY fans are RUGBY fans....regardless of the code. If the AB's win the RUWC then league fans will applaud.....if the Warriors win the NRL union fans will be delighted......it's only in dally messengers small head that this massive divide exists........
Was watching the 7's from Australia today...I reckon if the NRL do get loads of cash, that's where they should be looking to nick players from.....it really is a cracking game....and the players are as fit as tour de france cyclists (without the drugs)..... |
