Trouble is I worry that the current low could get lower still!

One of the lowest was when Hull gave Agar a two year extention on April fools day a few seasons ago, knowing what we had to go through, after the boredom we had suffered.

I would say 2007 was far worse than what we're experiencing now. Back then the only two bids on the table were a couple of local businessmen who really didn't have anywhere near enough money to put us anywhere close to where we are now. There was no doubting that we would have survived but we'd be in Championship 1 right now and not necessarily having it all our own way down there in front of 1500 fans.
Nobody expected a third bid and when it did come in not many knew the sort of investment capability that SOC had.

This years been dump, but there have been good times and I'd rather be here than in the Championship. The only point I'd be completely gutted about this year is if we're three years down the line and nothing has been attempted to solve the performance problems. Until then I'll hope that we make a good decision some point soon regarding the coach.

There are two that stick in my mind.... hearing that we had been rejected in 2008. I genuinely thought that the RFL would use licencing as a vehicle to get more expansion sides into SL and I think (from a personal point of view) we've been fairly fortunate that Toulouse, Barrow and Crusaders couldn't get their acts together.
And genuinely.... hearing Betts was going to be appointed as our SL coach. He obviously wasn't up to the job in the Championship and we were being linked with some decent names. Then to hear he had been given a new 2 year contract and realising that our first year back in SL was going to be a damp squib left me pretty angry for more than a few days.

Mine have been many, but losing to Donny (mid 80's) in the JP was a low point, I was working in London and got the train up for the day, losing a days 'double' pay and the cost of the trip.

Last match for me tommorrow, a steady decline is on the way, both in the sport in general, and my club in particular, East's and Miners for me from now on

I've only been going to FC since after the move to the KC, so I wasn't around for the really dark days in the late 90s.

The lowest point since I've been going have to be the Agar days, especially finishing 12th in 2009, only being saved finishing bottom by the 2 promoted clubs with new licences, with no young players coming through either.
