Because they no that no matter how they try Tykes can never surpass the Lancastrians. History shows it.

| Quote: Starbug "If you are suggesting a tin foil hat for me , how do you quantify their assessment of Quins ?
They are essentially bankrupt , is that what they state ?
No it isn't , which suggests what ? , the governing body will twist move and spin whatever part of whoever applications they want , don't pretend to be clever when it is obvious you aren't'"
This is another daft statement. Quins are not 'essentially' bankrupt at all. The company is clearly not self-profitable or self-sustainable as a business (like Crusaders clearly weren't), but while ever you have someone willing to underwrite the losses or service the debt then they are clearly not 'essentially' bankrupt.
If you use this as your yard stick for assessment of clubs then Warrington and Saints are equally 'essentially' bankrupt... in fact, other than Leeds, Wakefield, Cas, Bradford and maybe Hull... then they are all 'essentially' bankrupt!

Avoid the points raised with another question... however, put in a better more robust application than one of the existing clubs which may, or may not, include finding an optional sugar daddy!

To the same level as Quins ? , what percentage of Quins expenditure is ' earned ' income , and what is ' donation ' ?
Then ask the same question of all the other clubs you put forward as also ' bankrupt ' ?
What did you expect Fax to be able to do , to guarantee a SL place ?
Not be better , what specific financial targets do you suggest they achieve ?

Well, we know that Saints last accounts show them £8m in debt, ok these will be mainly directors loans so it is not a debt unless they call them in, but that is their exposure. No one has answered a question of mine about the whether the Tesco/Housebuilder deal includes wiping or partially wiping out some of the debt? We understand that Mr Moran is putting in roughly £2m per annum at Warrington and that Mr Lenagan puts in more than a £1m plus at Quins and probably much more at Wigan! So is Quins percentage of donated to earned income will be high... but if he is happy to put the money in, what does it matter?
Quote: Starbug "Then ask the same question of all the other clubs you put forward as also ' bankrupt ' ? '"
Not as high, of course, I would not deny that one bit... but money is money!

It would appear that Fax maybe didn't put in any tangible financial information, never mind achievable financial targets!

So what are Warrington spending Mr Morans 2 million a year on ? If we see them getting almost capacity crowds and massive merchandise income plus the 1.2 from SKY , with a salary cap of only 400 k more than the SKY money ?
Similarily with the pies ?

If what you have put on here is true , the Wakefield are completely fcucked , are you suggesting Mr Glover is going to put the same 2 million into the Wildcats as Mr Moran puts into Warrington every year ? , because the costs that Wakefield will have to pay , and the loss of revenue will mean he will have to at least match Mr Moran for Wakey to be anything like competitive

| Quote: Inflatable_Armadillo "No, you are pathetic!
It has been said time and time again that this myth that the RFL bottled kicking out Wakefield 'at the last minute' was clearly just as much rubbish as you are often inclined to post. Once the consultants, KPMG in particular, got into the bones of Crusaders application they knew, quite a few weeks out that it was a problem. I understand from very good sources that, particularly in the final two weeks prior to the announcement, the RFL were trying to get Crusaders to either give them more information to prove some very bold claims or withdraw their application.
There was nothing last minute about it. Wakefield were only ever in danger because people speculated (see earlier helpful definition) they might have the weakest application! Those people were wrong and they didn't, and the Crusaders and Halifax applications were clearly weaker and that is why Wakefield were given a licence. I am sure you can understand this... can't you!'"
what a strange post this is,do you live life with your head stuck in the sand?.
why do you have such a strong agenda to defend all things wakefield trinity?

| Quote: Dunbar "So, what you are saying is that KPMG, a professional services organisation with over $20 billion revenues a year and reliant on its reputation for expertise and trust in audit, tax and business consultancy have been contracted to the RFL to assess the submissions of the licence applicants and yet they are happy for the RFL to disregard these assessments and publish inaccurate summary reviews on the submissions so that they can teach the Halifax Chairman a lesson?
Your level of paranoia is quite incredible – in fact I now picture you with a homemade tin foil helmet'"
Suggest you watch "Inside Job" and see how the equally Billion$ auditing companies responsible for credit ratings of companies behaved in the GFC, no process/company is incorruptable. Having said that to do it just to annoy Fax fans seems unlikely!
