实事求是!: |

| Sandow's passing was some of the worst I have ever witnessed in the game of rugby league.

| Thought I'd misheard the Jordan Turner for MOS comment. Sooner that pair of clowns are off the Sky coverage the better.

| Quote: nottinghamtiger "Denny Solomona?
28 tries scored - 8 more than the player in second place. Some of them have been spectacular ones too.
37 clean breaks - 12 more than any other player.
Luke Gale?
32 try assists - 9 more than any other player.
Second top goal kicker behind Sneyd
Has kicked 8 less goals than Sneyd but created 14 more tries.
Currently leading Goldthorpe medal table and has played without a proper half back partner for most of year.
I think there are the only two possibilities from Cas. Luke Dorn has gone well too - 10 tries and 16 try assists despite missing at least 10 games.
I think Sandow is the most talented player I have seen this year, but Houghton has been very good too.'"
Solomona now on 31 tries - 11 more than any other player. Many of them are outstanding individual finishes, he's not just running over the line unchallenged out wide. Also made 15 more clean breaks than any other player.
Gale now on 35 try assists - 12 more than anyone else. Now only one behind Marc Sneyd in terms of goal kicks.
Leading the Goldthorpe medal table by more than he was a few weeks ago.
These are definitely Cas' two contenders for MoS. In terms of a winner, I don't think any individual has made more difference to SL than Solomona this year.
Godwin Springer also a possibility for young player of the year.

Solomona's definitely in with a shot for me & also has a chance to go past Vainikolo's 36 tries in a SL season record.
Gadwin's maybe a bit old at 23 isn't he for young player?

He would have scored even more, had he not had to fill in at FB which has probable "robbed" him of another 4/5 tries.

Not sure what the criteria is to be eligible.
Think I remember something about number of appearances as well as age.

| As a Wakey fan it's hard to admit but as a rugby league fan it's easy to admit that Solomona or Gale would be worthy Man of Steel candidates, I honestly can't think of more stand out candidates than them two.

| Taking nothing away from Gale (who I think has had a fine season) I wouldn't be using the goldthorp medal as any type of a barometer . I find it a bit of a joke really and when you see Todd Carney , Jacob Miller ,Luke Walsh , Hanbury , Robert Lui all above Ellis , Houghton or Solomona says it all . Getting chose by your fellow professionals is the biggest award you can hope for

| Yeah I would say Gale either. I would however say he deserves a start for England over Matty smith.
1 cas player who has impressed me no end since his injury is junior moors. Outrageous .

Gale should have played in the 2nd test against the Kiwi's last year.
We were 1 game up and just didn't ask any questions of them in the 2nd test.
He's earned his chance and Smith isn't setting the world alight at Wigan.
Powell has a done a great5 job with the Cas offence and Gale, Dorn and Solomona all look superb when they have ball in hand.

| Sick of the Houghton bandwagon he has been a good club man and certainly gives 100 percent and I would like him at my club as 1 of 2 hookers but he's top tackler because he plays 80 min in middle of park.no one else does.alot of his tackles are 2nd 3rd man in.his scoots are decent his kicking is better than most hookers but his distribution is poor he looks great this season behind the dominant pack.id put sneyd and shaul in same bracket.not an anti fc thing as I do feel ellis foremost and Minichello and Taylor should be worthy winners..I don't feel Houghton is an international standard hooker but by the same token he's been consistent for a long time and deserves a chance to find out..Solomona or ellis for me

| He also gets Hull on the front foot a lot by taking out markers with his scoots and clever dummy half play.
He's a bit one dimensional but he's very good at what he does and he has done it fairly consistently over the years so hardly a bandwagon.
