A player who's pretty good at making the line from ten metres out and thats about it. He'll do okay for you though (Ade Gardener #2), just don't expect anything special from his own half with bodies in front of him!

Oh dear. I actually have found myself saying there's a young winger who looks like the next add Gardner ... But it's about ormsby at Warrington. Makinson IS infinitely more talented than Gardner ever was.

If you don't think makinson is more than capable at producing tries then I suggest your letting Wigan bias get in the way of an obvious talent. As for stuff in our own half, he created (and then subsequently finished) his first try vs Huddersfield last round.

As I've said, he still has a way to go to break through, but he does do some remarkable things.
