Obviously it's hard to take into consideration just the local electorate in this instance as Castleford fans from outside the area (Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull, Lancashire, London) are going to sign it and it would be unfair to sideline them when they have a specific interest in this. IMO, anyway.

I won't be signing this petition. I feel strongly that Castleford already has enough supermarkets.

The new supermarket relates directly to Castleford rugby league and our future, hence why the petition contains Castleford RLFC. Additionally, I'm pretty sure that Cas fans in Fairburn and Kippax are not classified as part of WMDC but I guess those people still travel to Cas to do their supermarket shopping.
