Hull just couldn't get into a rhythm but you knew if they could they'd get the win. It took them a while but eventually they overcame a busted Warrington who only really looked dangerous against the run of play. The missed Gidley penalty was the turning point, I called a Hull win as soon as that ball sliced wide. Enjoyable final for me.

Dull as dishwater for 60 mins, but a thrilling last 20 made up for it.

Yes, well done to both sides for an excellent final; a slow burner, but none the worse for that. There were some excellent performances in both teams.

For a guy who had made over 50 tackles already, to come up with that effort just epitomises what RL is all about and the class shown by Tony Smith in his after match comments was utterly commendable,
