Actually, I really don't want to see Catalans or Toulouse drawn next round or at Wembley. Toulouse would not stand a chance against the power of Catalans, with the Catalans attacking brilliance of Todd Carney, Krisnan Inu and David Taylor, and playing under the defensive systems recently introduced to Catalans by Glenn Stewart, defensive systems that worked so well at Manly Sea Eagles.
My dream is for Toulouse to make it to the semi-finals, confronting the likes of Warrington or Wigan, as they did in 2005 against Leeds, and have Catalans win the final against the team that beats Toulouse. |

A big well done to Toulouse for beating much higher ranked opposition
There have been a few upsets in the cup, which ought to allow some decent publicity but, alas, the press are just not interested and the games publicity machine seems to be out of juice.
Anyway at least the fans can enjoy the magic and romance of one of sports oldest knock out competition.
Long may it continue and there ought to be a great build up to the draw for the next round (on Radio 4  ) |
