On what basis was Bailey defencless? That he hasn't got the brain power to put the arm he was not carrying the ball with, which he was proping himself up with, over his face.

But then again, this comes from someone who things Clint Newton is whiter than white.

Radford got whacked several times before reacting. If the referee had done his job in the first place there would not have been any real incident.

That Radford is a good shot with his fists (judging by Bailey's eye) shouldn't be factored in. Players go wildly swinging at each other in many games. The intent is there. Radfords intention (I assume) was to prevent being assaulted whilst making a fair tacking in the future.

Bet he gets paid a fair bit of professional respect on Saturday

I disagree Andy, I reckon Radders intended to put Bailey's lights out. Unfortunately he only completed half the job, simply because three of the four punches thrown missed their target

Bailey is a prime example of what is bad about RL and it oozes out of Leeds on gallons full. The elbows and Knees in the tackle. The deliberate blocking off on kick chasers (Mr Senior, you must be due an honouray degree from the University of Alapica for your services to that). The impression you have the divine right to say to the ref "go to the screem for that you will you (statement, not a question)" ala, Ryan Hall after Tom Briscoes perfectly ok, normal, vanilla, absolutely knack all even close to being wrong with it try.

You would have thought that Ryan Bailey would be thankful of a career in professional sport considering the background he comes from. Then again, there doesn't appear to be a great deal of cells (no pun intended, honest) in that family.

If the incident had been treated with consistancy (from the few weeks before, Fielden and Mason) they both would have got 10 minutes to consider their actions.

Instead the RFL have done what they are good at, making themselved look 2@'s. Banning a player, then telling him no he is not banned. Is there any wonder the game in no highly regarded???????
