what chance does a new club in a new area trying to blaze a trail for our sport and establish the game in previously unchartered waters have if these are the sort of comments that greet its every move. i mean what do you want? we've had folk crying out for years about lack of expansion and here some are hammering a club for actually giving it a go. of course they have to be cut some slack in the short term in terms of a competitive side.

It is 'what it is'. Our game is already suffering with average/past it imports, Toronto will only add to this.....the player pool is only so big, and New York will drain it even more.
Next step by the RFL to help them will be, no restrictions on overseas (ha ha, I mean non English) players....watch this space.

Toronto are a NEW club and their rich owner is excited right now, let's see how they are faring (like the pathetic M62 clubs have been for) in a 100 years.

RU dried up as a source 15 years ago, decent Aussies stopped coming in numbers about 10 years ago. How long should we give sides entirely reliant on products from other clubs and imports to become self sufficient? London have produced more half decent SL players than some clubs. About the only club deserving a pass mark from the last decade is Wigan.

New France was established in 1534 and remained under French rule power was ceded to the United Kingdom in 1763 after the war.......so without the British, Canadians (note I didn't say you) would be speaking French and French alone. Given the relationship between the 3 parties involved in North America, it's fair to say that if France had won the war with Britain, then the US would have gone hell for leather after Canada......so....nope....I'd say I have a pretty good grasp of History.
