Depends on the Wakey v Fax game tonight. Wakey win and Leigh's (and Halifax's) seasons are over, and it will probably be Wakey v Bulls in £1m game.
Fax win and there will be Wakey, Fax, Sheffield and Leigh all still able to make it to the £1m game.

If its Wakefield-Bradford then I'd fancy Bradford to win it, they are the team in form whereas Wakefield have been inconsistent at best. Whilst I have nothing against Wakefield, it would also be a bigger 'name' team with a bigger fanbase back in SL.

| Well as it stands, Wakefield might not even be in the million pound game. They've a much easier run on paper than Salford. One has to wonder if the good Dr has upset his players so much that they'd rather get relegated and have their contracts voided than stay at Salford

Salford lose away to Widnes tomorrow and it gets very interesting. Especially if they lose by a large margin.
Salford win and it's Wakey V Bradford - though who is at home will still have to be decided.

Bruised kidneys. Bent himself backwards around the post trying to stop a try early in the opening round of the 8s against Wakey, so apart from maybe five minutes he's missed the entire business end. Also had a kid due this weekend I think.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

Are you sure the bruised kidneys werent a delayed reaction to the Leigh game at the start ofthe season ? , we seem to be being blamed for everything else

| I was under the impression that thinking everything revolves around you had a part to play in that, though I've no doubt that had he played today your number 2 would have found someone else to go in knees first on.

Not unrelated, but not really a reason to hate anyone, you have the highest number of posters to these forums who talk about themselves in the third person. It's really odd.

| Please oh please can we have Bradford back in S.L .
How I miss those epic match-ups, those titanic showdowns. I’m sick of Cas being the nearest thing to a full-blooded derby, what with their obvious interbreeding an’ all.
I’d love it if Wakefield, that sick note excuse of a club, was banished from the top flight forever.
Go you Bulls, I’m getting dewy-eyed already at the thought of resuming our big city rivalry.
Mr L.Oiner.

I thought you were above a "in the gutter" dig at Cas. The strain of this season must be getting to you...go for a walk or something.

This ^^
Wakey are on life-support. Bulls to pull the plug out.

I didn’t realise satire was dead in Cas these days.
It’s been a fair few years since the outcome of a spectator sport has any bearing on my life, in fact probably the last time, Freddy “Blower” Fenton was still prowling the Princess Street stand, waving his hanky.
The only strain I have is someone coming along to buy my house, and then I can accomplish my plan to get the hell out of this country.

| So here's how we stand...
3. Salford 8pts (+46)
4. Wakefield 6pts (-3)
5. Bradford 6pts (-39)
Salford to play Widnes and Hull KR.
Wakefield to play Sheffield
Bradford to play Halifax.
For automatic promotion, Salford are going to need to get 30 put on then in both games (possible) and Sheffield would need to run Wakey close or beat them (not highly likely) whilst Bradford would be to put about 40-50 on Halifax (not highly likely either).
I think there's a very good chance it could be Salford vs Bradford in the MPG. I can't see Wakey being held close by Sheffield (they start well but fall away at the end of the game), and Widnes and Rovers are by far the best teams left. Even a couple of course defeats (say by 10 points) leaves Wakey only needing a 30 point win over part time opposition.
Still all to play for.

I'd suggest that, IF Salford lose both of their games and Wakefield win against Sheffield, the 49 point differential would disappear anyway.
Mind you Salford have their destiny in their own hands, it's up to them.
