Always thought Carl Ablett was hugely underrated by non-Leeds fans.
Clever hands, good footwork, doesn't miss much defensively and has a bit of mongrel in his game without letting it get out of hand. Sort of player every team needs at least one of.

That surprises me if Leeds fans underrate rate him. Every time he plays against us (Hull FC) he usually plays well. Mind you so does every other Leeds player.  |

Agree with whoever said Ablett. I also think Tyke McCarthy, Aaron Murphy and Joe Mellor go under the radar somewhat. McGillvary is a lot better than the general consensus aswell I feel, I'd certainly consider him for international honours over someone like Charnley who has been phoning it in for 18 months.
