The rent would go to LSV woth whom Leigh are share holders so it would affect Leigh in a positive way (if I understand it correctly anyway, i'm sure Starbug will explain further )

We've got Genesis and Blackburn Reserves paying rent along with us, i'm sure Genesis don't want a mud bath to play on, Stockport County had more games called off than any club in the football league this year with Sale playing friday nights. Wembley still hasn't recovered from whatever kick and clap game they played there.

I doubt Genisis have much say in anything , however I'd guess gain Sale , lose Blackburn reserves , RU will kill the pitch for football at the level Blackburn want

I've just posted on the Leigh forum, i don't think Leigh would be any better financially with this, the extra rent would just go to the majority owners wouldn't it?

Sale aren`t moving to Leigh and that has been confirmed by Dave Swanton on the unofficial Sale Sharks forum ...

I hope Sale move to LSV, I know Kennedy has been down to the stadium.
Kick out Blackburn reserves and Genesis, and have a Rugby stadium like Headingley, just that the pitch at LSV is a modern one capable of withstanding the wear n tear of RU far better.
I also have heard Kennedy will be buying into Leigh RL, which is great news for us and would do our SL application no harm whatsoever.

Sharing the new ground with Sale has long been rumored.
Loathed as I am to idea, I think it'll be the most viable option the Sharks have, once built. Any objections the Reds may have (I believe John Wilkinson is not Mr Kennedy's biggest fan) would be about as justifiable as mine:

Stockport fans were the authors of their own downfall from the moment they set up a Trust to take over the club .

It had little to do with Kennedy .

The problem was that the bought the Club from Kennedy. Sale RU are not in a particularly good state at the moment. They have got rid al most of their best players in the past couple of years. If you want to know what happened with Stockport County, have a look on their Message Board.

They will ruin yer nice pitch then ruin you financially, STOP Sale from spoiling Leigh and the LSV

Kennedy bought the assett, ie Egdeley park, then sold the worthless bit to the fans for £1.
He cant buy LSV, Sale will be lodgers only with the money helping LRL as shareholders in LSV, get em in asap.

Been told that Sale have had a look at the pitch at the LSV and the pitch is actually 'too hard' for them to consider playing there. However, if it does come off then it's only bad news as far as Leigh RL are concerned. No way at all that Kennedy would move from a stadium where they keep all income to a deal at LSV where they would have to hand cash over to the Stadium Co etc.
