Thats not going to happen here.
IIRC itb was HMRC that issued the winding up order and they have agreed the extension and there is no point in any other creditors tring to wind them up.

If there's no money to pay the players then surely they become free agents? Otherwise they could be sat there twiddling their thumbs and not getting paid because nobody wants to pay a fee for AN Other.

If the club is liquidated the players do become free agents.

If there's genuine interest from buyers then yes, an extension may be granted by the administrator because it's his job to actually SELL the club so if he liquidated the club while there's buyers in the wings he's not doing his job properly.
