| Featherstone would bring nothing to Super League's national let alone international profile, other than another obscure or totally unknown tiny pit town on a map. Toronto on the other hand would bring international name recognition, tens of thousands of new fans, and millions of dollars in sponsorship. It's a no brainer. Toronto must win promotion for the good of the game.

| Quote Mr Dog="Mr Dog"The only t!ts on here are those trying to belittle Fev's achievement by harping on about their successful DR arrangement - something which is available to every club in the Championship and used by many of them.[u As I said before, a simple net search would have provided the answer to the question posed.[/u'"
He asked a simple question irrespective of the inference behind it if any, wouldn't it have been just as simple for you to tell him, assuming you know of course.

Jeffrey Vickers. A reason why I have no time for anti-expansionists. They have no logical or coherent rebuttal of my arguments, which are actually not controversial. The anti-expansionists simply say that they are either angry or "bored" with my arguments, thereby conceding that they cannot rebut my arguments. Anti-expansionists are truly pathetic, because they don't have an intellectual leg to stand on.

| The point of promotion is to reward the best team in the division . Then hopefully in the following season the promoted club will be competitive in Super League. The weakness of the top five play offs is that the fifth team will sometimes win promotion.I am not having a dig at Featherstone but you have to question the wisdom of promoting the fifth team in the division, if they win the final.whether it is Featherstone or any other team. For me the sensible thing would be to promote the top team in the Championship. As a climax to the season have a play off system to win a trophy, not to win promotion.

I get your point but Fev are in the final on merit. They've done it tough with three away games on the trot and they've played really well in all of them. They had a bit of a slump mid season which is probably why the finished where they did but they still have one of the best squads in the division imo.
Having said that, I still think a win for them on Saturday is unlikely.

On the three strikes rule, it probably means that he doesn't know or, is being a smart
I'd go with the 3 DR players mentioned by another poster and if Mr Dog wants to correct that number, well, that's up to him.
Also, the DR system has been awful and regularly abused.
The theory of it, to give fringe players some game time seems ok but, when you see international players putting in an odd appearance for a lower league club, there is something not quite right.

If you mean Wellington Albert - he's on loan.

But under licensing it was ok to promote an awful Widnes team from 6th who had conceded an aggregate of 100 points to Fev that season.
