Quote Fishermanscap="Fishermanscap"You never stop stirring the pot do you. Watkins has received in general a similar amount of sympathy too the two players you mention.'"
He did upon receiving the injury, since his return it’s been different because he hasn’t been able to recover his form like others have.
Quote Fishermanscap="Fishermanscap"That said there is one crucial difference that you've missed in your latest attempt to be outraged on behalf of the Rhinos. Manfredi and Johnstone are both youngish players who are yet to hit their true potential, Watkins has had a brilliant career that has unfortunately ended in a way that he'd rather it hadn't but he still has a sack full of medals and a full career behind him so lets not get too precious.
Surely even you can see the difference and thus its obvious why the two you mention probably got a tad more sympathy

Nothing about “being outraged on behalf of the Rhinos” as I include some Leeds fans in the ones who have mocked his struggles, but you jumped the gun thinking I only meant opposition fans and was the one getting outraged.
As for full career the guy did his injury just 2 months after his 27 birthday, just because he’s picked up some trophies early that’s not a full career at all, he was only just hitting his prime years and just as much hadn’t yet his true potential as you say about others.
The difference has naff all to do with age, nor should it that’s a dumb reason because if the exact same thing befalls Johnstone on his next return I’m sure you’ll get sections of the RL fan base doing the same thing.
