The last and best ever RL commentator was Keith Macklin, Hemmings et al are not and have never been fit to put the cover on his microphone.
There are a few radio commentators that I'd put in front of any of the current lot, at least they can describe/commentate on the action instead of continual arguing/disection and random witterings as we have now.
The supposed great John Motson is a micturate poor 'commentator' he is incapable of really describing what happens when it's happing but just states what happened after the event during the replay.
Hull's very own David Doyle Davidson is let loose with the mic still for our games. It's like listening to somone with memory problems and whom has little grasp of English language. .it's beyond awful

CAncelling sky sports after tonight, the amount of cut aways during the game is ruining any possible flow far more than any mistakes by the teams.

I had a moan on Twitter and suggest everyone on here does. Their coverage is utterly pathetic. Ignoring the fools they have presenting it, it's the highlights from the other non-televised game that does my head in. If they are so keen on showing the Warrington romp versus Cas, why not just televise that game instead of the Leeds one? It was pathetic, constantly cutting to every try they scored and at one point preventing the viewers seeing Leeds score a try that was ultimately disallowed. That is what the half time break should be used for. I'd go as far as saying I'd prefer the margin meter to come back than that.

Or... you could just get rid of it replace it with premier sports with quality commentary superior product and watch it for a whole year for what sky want a month and not have to listen to any of the muppets.

With the cameras already at the match why dont sky give a choice of match like the BBC do some times with some sports and show trys at half time at the other game then if you want to watch you have a choice of games

i actually turned the Leeds-Saints game off because it was doing my head in, cutting to Warrington every 3/4 minutes, i know it's not usually like that as it seemed Cas bent over for Wire but do we need to see every try scored while there is a live match going on? it's ridiculous, just show ONE game and keep updating the scores for the others FFS!

oh and while i'm at it, is it any wonder Wire fans get a bit frustrated, how many times last night did Hemmings and Clarke say this year looks like being Warrington's year, and they look like a team on their way to the grand final etc, either they are in on the joke or they it's just pure muppetry!
