How Briers stayed on the pitch is beyond me. I'm no fan of Ablett but it was bad.

Ablett saved Briers by rights he could/should have belted him back and a proper bit of biff ensued. But as no one else ran in only to take Briers away, it was defused quite quickly.

Simple, you cite Briers & amend the decision.

Punching to the face is 3 games. Briers gets his early guilty plea & one game off, but it's still his season over.

It depends what they grade it at, if it even get's cited. At a certain gradinf he can enter early guilty plea and avoid a ban.
