He wasn't 'available' from Wakefield, we offered a transfer fee/deal for him which was reluctantly accepted.
He came to Huddersfield because we had him as a transfer target and got our man.
Since he has been with us his attitude, temperament and all round game has improved massively, hence why he got given our captaincy last year as even though the club was falling apart, Brough was the one who was trying to keep it all together. The problems he had in the past have gone.

Good on him, he'll be a great asset to the Scotland set up then where he doesn't have to play 'second fiddle' to anyone.
Also my apologies it was Hull where was booted out from. He left Wakefield just after the start of a season I believe. |

How do you know?
What we do know is Brough has made sure he definitely wont get picked.
Some more quotes from Mcnamara just today on the BBC website, it all sounds to me like Brough wanted to be first choice or not in at all which is not what Id want from a squad member in the England side.
"You will have to clarify that with Danny" he said. "You'll need to ask him what his plans are, but I only want players who are 100% committed to what we are doing."
"That's an irrelevant question. It seems he's not convinced what he wants to do but good luck to him on whatever he decides."

What we do know is Brough has made sure he definitely wont get picked.
