I thought the ref had a good game in the conditions, but that sinbinning was harsh IMO. It was not clear that the tackle had been completed, and had Tansey just left him Saints would have scored.
I also don't think the new rule about 'dragging' players into touch looks workable in reality
fantastic performance tonight though, looked like a completely different team to last season and Lauaki looks like he'll add the extra punch and unpredictability we have lacked. |
