Nothing wrong with Warrington’s try. Their disallowed one is correct by the rules, but the rules are pretty poor imo. The defender in question wouldn’t have got close to being involved or stopping a try. Should be as simple as that rather than break it down into technicalities, on an occasion like this casual viewers will think that’s a stupid try to rule out.

As for the game it depends on Warrington’s composure. Think they’ll win if they can cut out the rushed errors in possession and complete more sets. The difference in set completion % would normally see a much bigger gap on the scoreboard.

Well that sums up Warrington today, Lineham trying to slide over from 6/7m out on the 1st tackle. They’ve had chances and been in Catalans half enough but execution and composure is dreadful.
