I've tweeted a few 'irate declarations' tonight, but felt i needed to come on here to fully vent my anger, tonight's performance from Bentham was unbelievably bad...at one point he shouted at the Australians , stop moving forward on your knees,(at the PTB) , didn't award a penalty and they scored...absolute incompetence from the man...I'm sure at one point i saw him poking his head out of Tim Sheen's @r5e

why would they?

Me thinks Phil Bentham once got ditched by an Irish lass....he hated them tonight.
Ireland couldn't hold an OZ player down for 3 seconds !

he also said the same about irish players creeping forward

if this had been a super league game and ireland were say..hudds, london, widnes etc they would be crucified for slowing the game down and not letting the better team play at a faster pace..for me bentham did well not to sin bin the irish number 9, yes australia did slow the game down at the play the ball but because of the amount of time with the ball australia didnt do it anywhere near as much as the irish so the penalty count would be one sided

They did it all the time against England and never got penalised by Perenara.

Not watching it and glad I didn't by the sounds of it.
The refs for international games are a joke.

The top 3 get everything then when in come to England vs oz, oz get every 50:50 call

So frustrating because nothing will be done
